My Name Is Ralfie Balbuena

 

I’ve been in the hair industry for as long as I can remember starting at just 11 years old when I first picked up a pair of clippers to cut my own hair. What began as an experiment with my own style quickly turned into a passion, as I began cutting the hair of friends and classmates at school. I was hooked on the art of transforming a look and boosting confidence, and that drive pushed me to pursue professional training.

After working in a salon, I honed my skills and grew more serious about perfecting my craft. It wasn’t long before I transitioned into a barbershop, where I was able to sharpen my precision and expand my skill set, constantly learning new techniques to keep up with the evolving trends in the industry.

 

Throughout the years we’ve owned barbershops with a back space for tattoos and piercings because we always had a passion for dedicated art express in many ways such as graffiti,tattoos and hip hop and as a result I continued to grow in my career, I discovered scalp micropigmentation (SMP), and it was a game-changer. The moment I first tried it, I knew this was the next level of artistry for me. The precision, the impact, the transformation—it spoke to me in a way nothing else had. Now, as I specialize in SMP, I’m able to combine my love for the craft with the ability to make a lasting, positive change in my clients' lives.

I've been in this industry for a long time, and it’s been an incredible journey. From cutting my own hair at age 11 to becoming a skilled artist in scalp micropigmentation, I’m more passionate than ever about my work and the ways I can help others look and feel their best.
